The Lotus

Posted by admin

The lotus flower is very important to Thai culture and religion. You can find lotus flowers anywhere– especially in people’s houses. The Thais use the lotus to pay homage to Buddha . Even the Thai “Wai”– the hand gesture for greetings is likened to a lotus flower which is not yet in bloom.
