The Lotus
Posted by adminThe lotus flower is very important to Thai culture and religion. You can find lotus flowers anywhere– especially in people’s houses. The Thais use the lotus to pay homage to Buddha . Even the Thai “Wai”– the hand gesture for greetings is likened to a lotus flower which is not yet in bloom.

The color of that lotus is so…alive! Lovely. I never realized how very much connected to Thai custom & history the lotus is. Thanks for joining this week sis!
