The Bangkok Thai Immigration Building has this gigantic photo of His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej.  King   Bhumibol is the world’s longest-serving head of state.  He is deeply loved by the Thai people and consider him to be the country’s father.

The Thai Immigration is located in Chaeng Wattana, on the North side of the city.  Foreigners with visas are required to  report here every 90 days for personal appearance. One year visas are also granted in this office.

Important government offices are also located in this building.

We live in the Eastern part of the city, and going to downtown Bangkok is always a chance for me to take photos and update this blog.  During our visit to Bangkok’s newest mall, Terminal 21, we had a chance to take photos of some of Bangkok’s buildings surrounding the mall.

Last Sunday we went to Lumpini Park to watch Bangkok Symphony Orchestra in concert.  The best part? The concert was for free!

Serene and peaceful… right in the middle of Bustling Bangkok!

You could bike, run or take lazy afternoon walks here!

You could feed the birds…

Or row a boat for 40 THB for 40 minutes!

Here's how it looks like at night. Beautiful, eh?
