Good Music

It is no secret that Filipinos are mostly musically talented.  You go to the best bars and hotels in Hongkong, Korea and Bangkok and you could easily meet Filipinos playing good music.

Music is definitely something that we are proud of– and I am glad that it’s a gift that both hubby and I also have…something that we could pass down to our children. Hubby wants to have a collection of guitars. He has been playing guitar for more than 20 years now, and over the years he has taught many how to play the instrument.

I have that sense of satisfaction whenever I see the kids also having that same inclination to music. We have yet to know which stores sell the best and affordable guitars here in Bangkok, but there’s always best acoustic guitar to browse whenever we want to check on something new or worth buying.

I have made posts about my youngest sister getting married in a couple of months. She has been such a help to many brides in the past and we are looking forward to seeing her march down the aisle herself.

I am sure my father would be doubly tearful with this wedding. Not only is this a wedding of his favorite daughter (and I don’t have issues about that, really) but this is the last one he is going to give away.

I have seen my dad tearful when he marched down the aisle with me and with my sister, and I won’t be surprised if he would be bawling at this wedding! Haha!

Regarding the wedding preparations, my sister has not really gone into the details yet, but she will be, next month! For now she is processing her visa for Australia where they are going to settle as a couple. I wonder if they already have looked into men’s wedding bands? All I know for now is that my sister is already wearing that lovely engagement ring.

When we went home for a holiday in the Philippines, we went to hubby’s hometown for a very quick visit. Like most family get-togethers, we enjoyed food and lots of laughter!

Nieces and nephews rendered songs and dances as well. It was fun catching up with hubby’s siblings since we have not seen them for almost three years now.

Hubby’s niece gave birth to twin boys– it was hard to believe that we are already grandparents! In our language we would be called “lolo” and “lola”. It’s funny just thinking about it.

Since the boys’ mom could not afford strollers, we surfed for one at Indie Twin details on the internet. I don’t know if she would be able to purchase one before her boys grow really fast!
