We revisited the King’s Park last Friday.  The visit to the King’s museum was memorable.  It contained His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s paintings, old tables, televisions, inventions, musical instruments and sports equipment.

I tried to take a photo of this flower with the museum in the background.  Trying to be creative with my angles and shots– using my point and shoot camera. ;)  Perhaps online photography classes would be useful.

The purple flower, up close and personal.

If you are in Bangkok with someone who wants to do some serious shopping at Chatuchak market and you don’t want to join the spree, you can just stay at the Rotfai park, rest on a mat, read a book, enjoy the greens– or better yet, rent a bike!

A very relaxing place to be, far from traffic and busy Bangkok.

Not far  from the hustle and bustle of downtown Bangkok, stands a white mansion by the lake.  I wonder who owns this huge abode.  But it sure is a pleasant sight when you just want a “down” time by this lake after a long, busy day in this city.
